About Highland Lakes Service League

OUR MISSION

• Volunteer within the community
• Provide grants to area 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations
• Provide scholarships to women to further their education in pursuit of career goals
• Host annual Special Needs Christmas Party
• Provide monetary assistance to individuals and families in need

HIGHLAND LAKES SERVICE LEAGUE

• Over 100 women donate more than 5000 hours each year for community service within Burnet and Llano counties. 
• With no overhead, your generous gift goes directly into the community, where it belongs, through grants and scholarships.
• HLSL, through our Chuck Wagon Chow Down & Auction fundraising, was able to contribute $148,000 during the past fiscal year.
  • $57,000 for Scholarships
  • $80,000 for Non-Profit Grants
  • $5,300 for Special Needs Christmas Party with approximately 400 guests
  • $6,000 for Community Needs
