Our Mission

  • Volunteer within the community
  • Provide grants to area 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations
  • Provide scholarships to women to further their education in pursuit of their career goals
  • Host annual Special Needs Christmas Party
  • Provide monetary assistance to individuals and families in need

About Highland Lakes Service League

Over 100 women donated more than 18,447 hours over the last 2 years for community service in Burnet and Llano counties. This resulted in a benefit of $617,237 which is based on Independent Sector's hourly value of volunteer time. 

With low overhead, your generous gift goes directly into the community, where it belongs, through grants and scholarships and other programs.

Our Chuck Wagon Chow Down Fundraiser provided $155,863 during the past fiscal year.

  • $81,661 for Non-Profit Grants
  • $65,935 for Scholarships
  • $5,267 for Special Needs Christmas Party with 324 guests
  • $3,000 for Other Community Needs
