Our mission is to keep Central Texas safe. We provide resources and advocacy for Austin Police, Fire, and EMS to enhance the safety and well-being of our communities. 

Our vision is for every Central Texas resident to thrive in a safe and secure community. We will protect our region through collaborative, proactive, and innovative public safety solutions. 
So far in 2026, we achieved significant milestones, including: 

• Strengthened APD Crime Division operations with new forensic computers.

• Equipped APD Mounted Patrol with new riot gear and secured renovations for a SWAT vehicle to enhance operational readiness.

• Launched first annual Blessing of the Badges, creating a visible moment of recognition and community connection for first responders.

• Supplied 500 teddy bears in EMS trucks to comfort children during emergency responses.

• Approved a five-year police contract, ensuring long-term stability for law enforcement operations.

• Approved a new public safety headquarters, centralizing Police, Fire, and EMS operations.
  

• Supported community engagement through 15 first responder events, including UT football tailgates, Cap 10K, Austin Police Association Family Day, 9/11 Stair Climb, and Austin Fire Foundation Breakfast on Fire.

• Sponsored ballistic vests for Austin Fire Department, Austin Travis County EMS, and Cedar Park K9s, and co-sponsored K9 bulletproof vests.
