Claws and Paws is a fun design and building competition to highlight the amazing talents of many local San Antonio architectural and contracting firms. The finished doghouses and cat condos will be displayed at North Star Mall from March 1 – 22, 2026. The designs will be judged on construction quality and creativity. The doghouses and cat condos will be auctioned online, with all proceeds going to PAWS for Service and Daisy Cares.

Inspired by the Dallas Bark n Build competition, our event brings together local builders, designers, and animal lovers to create amazing, one-of-a-kind pet homes. The homes will be displayed at North Star Mall during from March 1 – 22, 2026. It’s not just about showcasing local talent—it’s also about helping our furry friends. All the proceeds from the auction of these creative pet homes go directly to two local pet charities — PAWS for Service and DaisyCares.
