Attire: Texas Chic
For Men: A fusion of laid-back and rugged styles that capture the essence of Texas' dynamic lifestyle. Think jeans, boots, a cowboy hat, and a shirt for a casual look, or elevate the outfit with a sport coat or tailored suit for a more refined appearance.
Key elements to consider:
Suits: Slim-fitting, well-tailored suits with a touch of Western-inspired patterns.
Shirts: Dress shirts featuring subtle Western yokes or embroidered details.
For Women: Infusing Western flair into a polished ensemble, such as a chic cocktail dress paired with cowboy boots, a tailored blazer with fringe accents, or a sleek jumpsuit cinched with a Western belt—all while maintaining an air of sophistication.
Key elements to consider:
Dresses: Midi-length dresses adorned with lace, embroidery, or delicate fringe.
Fabrics: Luxurious fabrics like velvet, silk, or leather to add an elevated touch.
Accessories: Bold jewelry featuring Western motifs such as turquoise stones, concho buckles, or star-shaped pendants.
Footwear: High-heeled cowboy boots in timeless colors like black or brown.
WHY KOZ?
KOZ provides men of the church with training and curriculum to mentor boys using outdoor adventure. Today, over 40% of the boys in our nation do not have a dad living at home. The lack of this male role model has created a dramatic increase in drug use, school drop-out, pregnancy, and more. The average kid also spends 40 minutes a week outside, 70 hours in front of a screen. Boys are drawn in by the outdoor adventure and training by an adult man. Every boy truly is “Wild at Heart.” This internal longing fits perfectly with the KOZ program.
